John Riddle is a highly recognized retail and manufacturing growth expert, with 40+ years’ experience as a Senior Executive with globally recognized brands including LG, Philips, Maytag and Electrolux.
John recently retired from LG as the Senior Vice President of Home Appliances & Air Solutions USA, leading LG during a period of unprecedented growth and market share from 2011-2018.
John has senior relationships with every major retailer and manufacturers in the United States: The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy, Sears, Amazon, Aaron’s, Rent-A-Center, Ferguson’s, Buying Group’s, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco and the independent retail sector. John is also available, and has significant experience advising investment analysist, hedge funds, and global consulting groups on big box retail / appliances & electronics, and presenting at industry conferences, workshops, seminars, and annual sales meetings.

Grew the U.S. Appliance and Air Solutions business from $1.5B to almost $4B. Launched the company’s first builder division, and added new distribution including Lowe’s, Costco, Sam’s Club, Menard’s, Aaron’s, Rent-A-Center and hundreds of regional independent dealers. Top American leader in the U.S. business.
Launched the Hisense Consumer Electronics brand to the US and Canada. Penetrated Walmart, Best Buy and Canadian Tire via OEM brands. Built the U.S. sales and marketing teams. Led the U.S. team in acquiring the rights for the Hitachi brand in the U.S.
Led U.S. product development, capital expenditures, product roadmap, P&L for Electrolux Cooking Products. Worked in manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada, as well as OEM suppliers in Asia. Global Team Leader for new Induction Technology.
Launched modular housing division. Developed new business opportunities in the military housing channel, FEMA housing, Homeland Security barracks and University Dormitory Housing.
Expanded distribution in the independent dealer channel, commercial home theatre channel and buying groups. Created 3 Year Strategic Plan, growing revenue and profitability dramatically from 2001 through 2004.
Served in 10 different leadership roles over 22 years. Launched the Company’s Builder Solutions Group, targeting premium home builders with the Jenn-Air and Maytag brands.
